Amber Soik

Amber Soik is an interdisciplinary artist and teacher in the greater Milwaukee area. She is DPI licensed and certified in both Special Education and Elementary Education. She graduated from NYU Tisch with an M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Writing (‘21), a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, a B.A. in English Literature, and minors in dance and music (‘19).
While studying at NYU Tisch, Amber performed in numerous musicals including Tom Jones’ Celebration and GMTWP’s Saint Sebastian. In 2017, she played violin for a production of Fun Home, featuring Ben Wang (Karate Kid: Legends). In 2018, she was cast in Music Academy International’s production of Evita in Mezzano, Italy. Currently, Amber teaches through the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music at Golda Meir and St. Charles Borromeo. She is also a teacher on the adolescent unit at Granite Hills Hospital in West Allis. Additionally, she is a certified yoga and WERQ Dance Fitness instructor. Amber loves tending to her many plants and her two pet axolotls, Ash and Scarlet. |
