My name is Sue Ferguson and I have been teaching Suzuki and Traditional styles of piano instruction for 31 years. I have a Bachelor’s and Master's Degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. I have also trained with the Suzuki Institute through Suzuki Book 2.
I have a musical philosophy that any child/adult can learn piano. I strongly believe in teaching a love of music as well as the technique of playing the piano. The 2 styles that I teach, Suzuki and Traditional, are often blended together as I try to facilitate learning the technique of the piano and music with each student’s individual strengths and needs. |
