Chris Krellwitz picked up his first guitar at the age of 10 and fell in love with music immediately. That day, his life changed forever as he decided at a very young age that music was his passion, and playing the guitar was something that he was very passionate about. Chris joined his fist band at age 14, which is coincidentally when he first started composing his own music. Two years later, Chris began teaching guitar lessons professionally at the young age of 16 and officially decided that music was the career path for him. He would spend the next several years of his life extensively studying music and the guitar, composing music for his bands and side projects, and growing his teaching and performance career.
Fast forward to present day--Chris has been playing the guitar and studying music intensively over the past 22 years. He strives to share his talents with others and to be continually evolving as a guitarist, teacher, musician and composer. Chris is a reputable guitar teacher with more than 16 years of professional teaching experience. He is proficient in many styles of music such as jazz, rock, blues, funk, fusion, R&B, flamenco, Latin and classical.
